Questions, answered.

Do I need an account to use Launchcast?

No. Launchcast works fully in anonymous mode with zero sign-in required. Signing in with Apple or Google lets you sync your mission patches, streaks, and bookmarks across devices — but it's entirely optional.

Where does your launch data come from?

We pull from Launch Library 2 (the gold-standard public API trusted by The Space Devs), plus SpaceX's official data API for real-time Falcon and Starship updates, and Open Notify for live ISS position. All public sources, updated every 15 minutes.

How does the "synchronized T-0 haptic" work?

When you're in a Live Launch Room, your phone syncs with our server at liftoff. At T-0 (the actual moment the rocket leaves the pad), every phone in the room vibrates at the same instant. It's the one moment you can feel that thousands of other fans are experiencing the same launch with you.

What does the AI assistant do?

Ask Mission Control is powered by Claude and trained on space mission data. Ask anything: "Why is Starlink 6-67 using a 53° inclination?" or "What's the next crewed Dragon launch?" — you get a real answer, fast. Free users get 3 questions per day; Pro is unlimited.

Can I cancel the free trial?

Yes, anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged. No sneaky fine print.

Does Launchcast track me or sell my data?

No. We don't track you across apps or websites. We don't sell your data. Ever. See our Privacy Policy for the full rundown — we collect only what the app needs to work.

What phones and iOS versions are supported?

iPhone 11 and newer, running iOS 17 or later. AR Sky Mode requires the gyroscope and camera on iPhone X and newer. iPad support is on the roadmap.

How do I get support?
